AlphaFlow is a San Francisco-based, autonamted alternative investment platform for real estate. The platform has appointed Chris Woida, former managing director and head of index solutions at Axioma, as co-chief investment officer. Woida will serve as co-CIO alongside the firm’s CEO Ray Sturm, who will act as both CEO and co-CIO.
Resolute Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Social Capital, Y Combinator, Upside Partnership, Clocktower Technology Ventures, Dorothy Capital, and Red Swan Ventures are just some of the investment agencies backing AlphaFlow.
Recently, AlphaFlow closed their $4.2 million seed investment round led by backers Resolute Ventures and Point72 Ventures, and continues to build its team by bringing Woida to its executive leadership team.

Woida has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry under his belt. Previously, he helped build BlackRock's smart beta and factor-based platforms and served as the lead investment statefist for is flagship style-factor hedge fund during his time at the company. He served as managing director, head of index solutions most recently at Axioma, which provices enterprise market risk and portfolio analytivs solutions. There, Woida helped the business expand into fixed income and alternative sources, like AI and ESG.
