Recently, US-based property portal CoStar acquired UK startup Realla that had already gathered 90,000 listings on their platform. Since this acquisition, getting some time with the founders of either company has been a goal of many editors on the web, which was understandable, knowing how much work they must be doing in the wake of the deal.
Realla co-founder Andrew Miles was nice enough to take some time to answer some questions. Prior to Realla, Miles spent 5 years on the Investment Team at British Land, where he worked on over £1bn of completed commercial real estate transactions. He started his career as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman.
Launched in summer 2016, Realla is a free-to-list search engine for commercial property. Within Realla Ltd, the company also offers a software product, called RealBase, which provides a dedicated, all-in-one commercial property marketing & data management platform for agents and landlords.
