Indian real estate start up Square Yards has announced the company has crossed $1 billion in total property transaction value in the past three years since its inception.
The company recently concluded two rounds of funding, raising $10 million last month from multiple investors in the form of convertible notes and $12 million equity funding in November last year from the private equity arm of Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group.
Square Yards offers services ranging from property research & advisory, site visits, selection of best available inventory, obtaining home loans, and hand-holding the client till property possession.
The company completes 600-800 transactions every month and has now crossed the 10,000 property deals mark.
Square Yards' CEO Tanuj Shori commented on the achievement.
"The company has made conscious efforts to retain and grow its loyal client base. We currently boast a repeat customer rate of around 21%," he said.
