Renting can be a nightmare enough in itself so rent.com.au have added a feature to their site to make the process less cumbersome: they've introducing an NBN status for all their properties, so you can quickly detect which homes have speedy internet.
Rent.com.au CEO Greg Bader said the inclusion of an NBN status was developed in response to demand.
“Our customers have been asking for this," Bader announced. "Whilst NBN information is already available via the NBN website, it is a cumbersome process and no one really has the time to check each property individually. What we have done is taken public information and then presented it in a format that is easier to digest for our customers.”
The site clearly presents users with information which tells them basic NBN information on each property such as whether NBN is available, scheduled or if the status is unknown.
“The way we’ve incorporated the information into our site means that customers can now also filter their results based on NBN availability, much like they have been able to do with Walk Score – neither of these are available on our competitor’s websites”, Bader said.
