Zillow is seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to join our growing business analytics team, which is responsible for deriving actionable insights from our terabytes of data. A successful candidate should not only have a strong analytical background, but also data-driven marketing experience. In this cross-functional role, you will work directly with business stakeholders in the online/mobile marketing team, which manages multiple media acquisition channels (search, display, social, etc.)
The Marketing Analytics Manager will develop multi-channel attribution analysis, enhance customer lifetime value models, and dig deep into data sets to inform and guide marketing strategy and critical business decisions. Data is the lifeblood flowing through our product and company so this is a critical role with great growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and analyze large, complex datasets to drive actionable insights and recommendations for online/mobile marketing strategy
Define, collect and develop key business metrics for marketing campaigns, multi-channel attribution, and other marketing initiatives
Enhance, collect, and analyze customer lifetime models
Collaborate and work with a cross-functional team to define and set project roadmaps and deliverables
Create insightful automated dashboards and data visualizations to track key metrics and trends
Collaborate with business intelligence on data warehouse requirements etc
Qualifications:
Excellent data, analytic & problem-solving skills – ability to translate data into actionable insights which can be easily understood and utilized by the entire organization and external partners
Passion for and experience in data analysis and online/mobile marketing strategy
Strong knowledge of Excel is essential
BS/MS required, preferably in a quantitative, technical field (Math, Engineering, Science etc)
Strong organizational skills – track issues and work with other parties to resolve issues
Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong bias for action and experience managing large scale on-going projects along with short term projects
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience with SQL (preferably MS SQL) data visualization (Tableau, Spotfire etc) and Big Data (Hadoop, BigQuery etc) a plus
Statistical skills and experience using stats packages (R, SAS, SPSS etc) a plus
Overall, a highly driven, results-orientated, creative, intellectually curious, nimble problem solver, who uses technical data excellence and whatever it takes to deliver business value rapidly
