HotPads.com, one of the leading housing search engines, is actively looking to hire experienced web developers to join our talented engineering team. All positions will be located in our new office in the exciting Mission District of San Francisco.
Quickly growing past 5 million monthly users, we are looking for talented individuals with innovative ideas, an entrepreneurial mind set, and a track record of taking on challenging projects.
Internet Software Engineers
We're always looking for people who understand the fundamentals of the Internet and Java, and who want to quickly become experts in both. We work on many small projects at a time and release new features frequently. Immediately, you'll start working with experienced developers and contribute to features that might be released days later. In addition to working on core projects, our engineers enjoy a highly flexible environment, having freedom to work on their own 'passion' projects.
If you're interested in mastering many or all of these technologies, HotPads is a great place to do it: Java, Tomcat, Hibernate, Lucene, Hadoop, Hbase, JUnit, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, EC2, S3, CloudFront, and MySQL.
This is a competitively salaried position with a big opportunity to advance. Unfortunately, H1-B sponsorships will not be considered at this time.
