A new partnership between brokers Engel & Völkers and tech company immoviewer will ensure that real estate agents in its Nth American offices are equipped with hardware so they can create 3D real estate tours.

The alliance was announced at E & V Exchange, an annual conference where Engel & Völkers businesses throughout North America unite to celebrate being part of the large real estate network.

Engel & Völkers is one of the world’s leading service companies specialised in the sale and rental of premium residential property, commercial real estate, yachts and aircrafts. The partnership with the German company immoviewer will ensure each of the 118 Engel & Völkers brokerage offices across Nth America will be equipped with an immoviewer 360 hardware kit and Google cardboard glasses allowing its agents to capture and produce professional and polished 3D virtual tours to share on their social media accounts, website, and via email.

Immoviewer CEO Ralf von Grafenstein said he was excited about the partnership.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Engel & Völkers North America to deliver virtual reality technology to their license partners and advisors across North America," von Grafenstein said.

"We have seen incredible results for real estate professionals including quicker turnaround time during the home buying process, a decrease in the amount of time sellers need to vacate their properties and more flexibility for homebuyers to view multiple homes.

"Virtual reality is quickly becoming an industry standard in real estate and companies that don’t embrace this technology will quickly fall behind the pack.”
