Australia’s Domain Group adds four new hires to its product and technology team

Domain Group has added four new hires to its product and technology team, securing some of the technology industry’s best talent for its next phase of growth.

They join the team in a year of rapid expansion that has seen Domain Group create new roles for more than 80 people. With diverse backgrounds in all aspects of product and technology development - from machine learning through to product and software strategy - the new hires strengthen Domain’s leadership as an innovator in the Australian property space.

Domain Group is pushing forward into a massive 2018, following the company’s listing on the Australian Securities Exchange earlier this month.

Domain’s bolstered product and technology team will drive improvements to existing products and develop a suite of new products that deliver on the current and future needs of all stakeholders, including home hunters and agent clients.

New additions to the team include:

  • Katherine Santer, Principal Product Manager — Katherine joins Domain from Expedia where she was Global Product Manager. A former Country Director of Care Australia, Katherine will provide strategic direction for Domain’s wider consumer product and technology division, with a focus on consumer, B2B services, and APIs. Katherine has a BA in Economics and Finance and also ran San Francisco start-up Jack Cards.

  • Benjamin Paton, Senior Product Manager —  Benjamin will focus on Domain’s Agent Services product and technology vision and roadmap for Domain’s top clients. Joining Domain from software company Viostream where he was Director of Product, Ben has extensive experience across the process of product development with software engineering. Ben has worked at the ABC and Reuters and Nasdaq.

  • Kirsty Lee, Senior Product Manager, Lifecycle Products — Kirsty will head Domain’s product direction for Domain’s transactional products and technologies, including Domain Insure and Domain Loan Finder.

  • Danielle Lowry, Head of Media Products, Domain Media — Danielle will lead product development for the company’s media customers. She joins Domain following previous roles at Yahoo7 and Multi-Channel Network.
