Microsoft marketer Lisa Hickson joins Australia’s REA Group as general manager of brand, communications and insights.
Hickson was previously marketing director of consumer and online at Microsoft Australia. She has also worked for companies including Virgin Money, SOCOG and held a role in Network Ten’s digital media unit.
Greg Ellis, CEO and MD of REA Group, said in a press release: “We undertook an extensive search to fill the role of GM of our Brand, Communications & Insights team and we’re delighted to welcome someone of Lisa’s calibre to the business.”
“As well as having worked with some of Australia’s best known brands, Lisa brings a wealth of international experience, having undertaken an MBA at INSEAD in France, worked at Bain & Company in Hong Kong and Time Manager International (TMI) in both Hong Kong and the Philippines.”

Hickson will start at REA Group on the 15th of January, 2013.
