In the U.S., RES.NET has launched its second annual Halloween contest for real estate agents who use its products. The contest began officially this past Tuesday, the 16th of October, and will run until Halloween, the 31st of October.

An announcement was made on the RES.NET’s Facebook page on the previous Friday: “Happy Friday everyone! You may start to notice some monsters popping up around RES.NET today and this weekend. However, the promotion does not officially start until Monday, so you won’t be able to find them all until then. In the meantime, as always, to keep everything fair, please don’t post locations on Facebook. We’ll be monitoring it, but feel free to do some networking!”

The company’s website is riddled with ‘monster icons,’ which users can search for to win prizes, while getting more familiar with the technology and capabilities of the portal.

The agent who collects all seven monsters wins the grand prize, an all expense paid trip for two to New York City during the 2012 holiday season, but there are other prizes as well, including a Visa gift card, a RES.NET membership discount, Apple TV an iPad2 and an RES.NET renewal or upgrade.

Agents have taken to Facebook to express excitement over having captured icons, and ask for help to find ones which are harder to find, causing for a fun and definitely unusual flurry of posts referring to witches and ghosts.

RES.NET, is a provider of functional portals, each specifically designed for various aspects of the real estate industry. By linking the portals together, RES.NET synchronizes a community of business professionals, buyers, and sellers to each other while optimizing communication, automating task management, and centralizing data.
