One of the most common uncertainties people face when searching for rentals is guessing which listings are trustworthy. HotPads has taken that guessing game out of the equation, when looking for a place to live and they have has launched Trusted Listings.
“While we of course try to make sure all listings on our site are of the highest quality, we wanted to help visitors quickly identify listings which we’re most confident about. This means listings which have original content, photos, and are known to be responsive. Most importantly, these are listings created by housing professionals who have actually taken the time to speak with someone at HotPads,” said Paul Gleger, HotPads Director of Marketing.
The company stated that, they think Trusted Listings will save time and add an extra layer of confidence to the search process. Trusted Listings are identified by a green badge on the map, and to get a Trusted Badge, housing professionals must speak directly with someone at HotPads. This deeper level of authentication allows HotPads to learn more about the person behind the listing, helping the company determine if they are in fact legitimate. This highly personal vetting process also tends to identify listings which have better content, more photos, and are more responsive.
