Do you have something to say, and are you wondering when would be the best time to say it?

Recent studies have indicated when is the best time of day to send Tweets, add to your Facebook or Goggle+ accounts, for the best results. It is worth having a look and possibly changing your ‘send’ time.

Yes, the message is the most important thing but timing is everything. You do not want a mailing campaign going out before anyone gets to work. They are more than likely to arrive and open their email with 20 or 30 messages, and you do not want to be a part of that group. Always post items after 8.30AM and preferably between 9am and 2pm local time.

So here are some rules of thumb:

  • Post early in the afternoon 1-3PM (Mon-Thurs)
  • Never post anything past 3PM on Fridays
  • Never post anything after 8PM (Mon-Thurs)
  • The best time to post is Wednesday from 2-3PM

The above guidelines will come to no surprise to seasoned marketers, as they very closely follow email campaign trends.

It’s a very fast world out there, and you need every advantage to catch your audiences’ attention, to say nothing of their interest.
