In a bid to provide users with comprehensive insights and information that assist them in making informed choices MagicBricks.com, one of the world’s most dominant portals, has re-launched its content section as Property Pulse.

The new content section, Property Pulse, has been re-designed and now offers wider and more in depth coverage of the real estate markets in India.

Incorporating the insights gathered from user feedback and studying usage behavior, the new tab-based navigation of the content section has been enhanced with several new features, including:

The New Front Page – Easy to Scan

The front page, with a new 3-column design, has been inspired by the ToI Online format. The latest estate related coverage across all the major cities can be found here, with sections for Exclusives, Top Stories, Recent Topics, Expert Views, Most Viewed and Most Discussed stories.

Property News – Original Content

MagicBricks.com converts data it receives from a pool of resources, creates insights and special content, which is then consolidated and summarized into useful information and knowledge.

Exclusive content and original articles are generated by the MagicBricks.com in-house team.

Featured Stories – The Real Estate Buzz

This section hosts real estate news and articles printed from Economic Times, Times of India, and the different city editions of the Real Estate Supplement – Times Property. Aggregating content from such diverse group properties makes this section rich in relevant content.

Expert Corner

MagicBricks.com Experts answer queries on a daily basis ranging from buying, selling and renting issues. This category has the option to view all previous property related questions and post any property related queries to the experts.

Rates and Trends – Compare Property Rates

This allows users to see the capital values of apartments or plots and rental values of various localities in the city. The latest property trends across major cities in the country can be tracked here for comparison.

Legal & Taxation – Rules & Regulations

Users gain insights into Tax Planning. Read the latest reports, news, and impact analysis of new rules and regulations.

Home Loan – Offers, Pros & Cons

A special news section on the latest loans schemes & offerings by the best banks across the country. With expert tips and guidance on how to obtain the best deal for a home loan.

Décor – Interiors and more

This category includes articles that express the delights of being a homeowner, with tips and advice on stylish living spaces, beautifying and embellishing a dream home.

RSS Feeds – Stay updated

Latest news or updates can be tracked by entering an email address under the RSS Feeds category. When users subscribe to a feed, it is added to the Common Feed List, which then sends the user updated information about the specified topic.

The Search Property in India Widget – Buy/Rent/Sell

The Search Widget gives users the option to look for property, new projects & agents in their preferred city and locality. Other details like bedrooms, budget, type of property and size can also be entered in the widget. This directs the user to a list of relevant search results.

Buyers can also search using the ‘Looking for Property?’ section. This allows them to see the developers that have projects in a specific city, which can then direct the user to the project details of the developer for any more details.

“We’ve built several strong content-led platforms such as PropIndex, OpenHouse, Gurutalk etc. Creating another section where we could aggregate property news, expert opinion and analysis of property trends was a natural extension of this process. We’ve therefore revamped and rebranded our content section as Property Pulse; and we will leverage our media reach and research strengths to make this section as the largest and most credible source of Property news and analysis” said Sudhir Pai, MagicBricks.com’s Business Head.

That site is way too cluttered for my tastes. Honestly, when i go to it — I have no idea what they want me to do. They need to focus on something from a user experience perspective.
