The latest trend in marketing videos aimed at promoting properties is extremely attractive, clever and enticing, so much so that they can be called ‘mini films’.
Some videos convey a story even a feeling, while featuring a property which is on the market for sale; with beautiful shots of the house, creating an ambiance which speaks directly to the potential buyer and opens their imagination to what they could be experiencing if they lived in the advertised property.
Sage Real Estate’s video for 218 Cottingham St., is a perfect example of how music, characters, story and emotion are mixed together in a symphony for the viewer, in a mere one minute and 54 seconds.
Another wonderful example is Lincoln Crum’s video entitled “Home cooking with Lincoln.” One would swear they are watching a cooking show on cable TV, it’s so well executed. The focus is on the jewel of the house, the kitchen, it’s size, functionality and appeal are all emphasized during the recipe/cooking which goes on during the duration of the video.
Real estate agents are no longer just selling buildings, they pitch the lifestyle which comes along with the property to the buyer interested in purchasing a home. Such is the case with the 525 Bella Vista Drive property, where the video is narrated by a soft-spoken woman with a British accent, listing all the features of the property as if it were a luxury vacation resort that the viewer is planning to take his/her family to across the globe.
Photos and panoramic views of properties are useful and can be quite lovely, but this new way of presenting a home is truly amasing. It captivates the viewer and gets his/her buying taste buds going.
