Thailand’s DDproperty.com has added an English-language option tab on its website’s landing page, in order to appeal to the increasing property enquiries from abroad.
According to DDproperty’s Founder, Tanomsak Khacharoen, a growing number of investors from Singapore, Malaysia and China are currently looking into buying property in Thailand, and Thai developers are buying space to list their projects on the company’s affiliate website in Singapore.
Tanomsak also stated that the current Thai property listing trend is upcountry land, such as in Saraburi and Nakhon Ratchasima, because these areas are safe from flooding but still quite close to Bangkok. During last year’s floods, the website experienced most enquiries for rental housing units, in areas which were not exposed to floods.
DDproperty.com has 150,000 property listings. The largest proportion is single houses at 30%, followed by condominiums and townhouses (25% each), with other types of property such as land making up the rest.
The website receives over 950,000 visitors viewing approximately 6 million pages every month, making it one of Thailand’s top property portals.
