At a time of reducing returns in the travel industry Netamatix.co.uk, the holiday rental booking specialist has reported record booking activity across its platform during this past April.
The local wet British wet weather, the upcoming Olympics and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, are being credited as the driving force behind the record number of bookings achieved via the Netamatix website.
“People are realising the UK can be a wet and dreary place even in the height of summer. Despite the downturn in the UK economy we have increased online bookings by over 150% compared to last year,” says Netamatix managing director, Andy Parr.
The company backs up recent reports from TUI and Virgin both recording increased online bookings for the month of April.
Netamatix.co.uk provides travel websites, booking systems, internet networks and rental management software suitable from the small through to the largest travel businesses.
