Through an exclusive partnership with Zoopla, Johnston Press has launched a new property platform across all of its 273 local websites.

The new property websites, currently providing Johnston Press with a powerful online property offering, will also fare well with agents and developers who currently advertise with Zoopla since it will increase the distribution and exposure of their properties onto hundreds of local websites across the UK.

“We are delighted to be launching this strategic partnership with Johnston Press, one of the UK’s leading regional media groups. It is a win for consumers and advertisers of both businesses, giving consumers of Johnston Press media access to an enhanced online property offering and providing advertisers on the Zoopla network access to an even wider audience across the UK.” Said Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of Zoopla.

“A key reason for partnering with Zoopla is the great technological features they bring to our new online property offering and Zoopla is a proven winner with over 12 million monthly visits,” adds Joe Slavin, Managing Director, Johnston Press Digital Classifieds.

Johnston Press will be supporting the launch of the new property websites with both online and offline marketing activities across all of their titles and websites.

Johnston Press publishes 18 daily newspapers including the Yorkshire Evening Post, The Scotsman and Portsmouth News as well as 237 weekly newspapers and operates over 270 local websites including Scotsman.com which was the most popular regional press website in the second half of 2011 with over 2.5 million unique users per month.
