Vancouver-based Allur, launched last month (in beta), is an online showroom for new real estate developments, and though it may sounds very run of the mill, it is so not the case. This is not just ‘another’ site.
Allur’s mission is to help users connect and interact with real estate opportunities in places they like, by bringing the showroom experience home to them, via a beautifully designed website which is both easy to navigate and easy on the eyes.
With the company’s slogan being ‘Featuring the World’s Best’, Allur announces that the world is its oyster! Not wishing to settle merely with Canada and the US, the company has high aspirations, and by the look and feel of its site, it is obvious that potential buyers who would pick up high gloss, heavy stock architectural magazines or luxury car prospectus are in its cross hairs.
The company claims that finding new real estate around the world is not as enjoyable as it should be, and that there are too many lists with too little interaction on other property sites. Allur is keen to have its content be its navigation, and they promote discovering properties over simply searching for them.
The Allur team is made up of: real estate enthusiasts, developers, designers and health nuts, and according to the company, “all are working around the clock to create something awesome,” which is evident in the fruit of their labour and will continue to blossom as time goes on.
