Australia’s Elders Real Estate, which sold 8338 properties for a combined total value of $3.23billion in FY 2010, has started listing on the up and coming real estate portal Farmbuy.com from the beginning of this month.
Farmbuy.com has grown to be Australia’s largest dedicated rural property portal listing over 13,000 rural and lifestyle properties and attracting
in-excess of 50,000 visits every month. Commencing operations in 2009, Farmbuy.com has approx 450 offices advertising and generates revenue from monthly agent subscriptions and display advertising from companies looking to reach an Agribusiness audience.
Farmbuy.com founder Philip Sondhu said of the recent Elders Agreement “We’ve been lucky to have had great support over the journey from Australia’s major agents and have been pushing hard to feed our users more properties. Now with Elders, arguabably Australia’s largest rural agent network, we give our user base more choice, more rural property and therefore assist them further in finding a rural property which suits their needs. In turn, we give Elders and their vendors a niche marketing resource to access our growing audience of domestic and international buyers looking to buy rural and lifestyle properties in Australia.”
In an exciting period for the fledgling online rural property business, they’ve also signed a preferred supplier agreement with the LJ Hooker
franchise network.
