Since the acquisition, Rumah123.com has increased the number of subscribing agents by over 150%. This growth was also boosted by the partnership deals with Ray White, ERA, LJ Hooker and Century 21. Underlying the sudden increase in new property agent advertisers is the understanding of changing consumer trends and the growing appreciation of the value of online advertising in delivering quality buyer, seller and renter leads.
Rumah123.com has also become the preferred property portal which consumers refer to while searching for a property. Website traffic is close to 1,000,000 visits to the portal, and the consumer database has increased to more than 100,000 registered consumers since the acquisition.
Success is attributed to the continuing efforts by the iProperty Group to improve the consumer experience and increased marketing and promotion of rumah123.com.
On top of a substantial increase in consumer traffic to the website, there were over 70,000 property listings posted by real estate agents, all of which are less than three months old. Outdated or old listings being advertised are a global problem; rumah123.com is the only property portal in the region to take concrete steps to address this issue by limiting the duration of listings. This has helped drive an improved consumer experience on rumah123.com.
