rentjungle.com, a US-based apartment rentals search engine that relaunched in early 2010, has released a mobile website and a round of upgrades for users.
rentjungle.com does not yet offer an iPhone app, but says one is in the works. Along with the new mobile site, the search engine has also added saved searches, neighbourhood shading on its maps, Facebook and Google account logins, more pictures, new map icons, and extra search options.
These releases follow on from the launch of compareyourrent.com - a website that allows users to gauge how much their neighbours are paying in rent – by rentjungle.com in June this year.
At the time of its relaunch in March 2010, rentjungle.com said it was aggregating over 1 million listings from more than 10 websites including Craigslist, sublet.com, realtor.com, and mynewplace.com. By October, the search engine said it was offering users more than 4 million listings aggregated from over 8,000 websites.
