iProperty Group has repositioned thinkproperty.com.my – the Malaysian real estate website it acquired in June last year.
The free-to-list, For Sale By Owner website now includes the tagline “your neighbourhood community website.” iProperty Group CEO Shaun Di Gregorio says this tagline was created to position thinkproperty.com.my as a property portal with a local neighbourhood focus.
Di Gregorio adds that the main objective of the site is to enable Malaysians to have an avenue to share their own personal thoughts on properties that capture their interest with other users. The site also includes various forums, blogs, property-related news and guides to spark conversations among property buyers.
iProperty Group recently reported that its Malaysian business saw 114 percent revenue growth to MYR 9.82 million in the first half of this year. The company also increased paying agents by 58 percent to 6,828, while property listings grew 71 percent to 171,000 and unique visitors grew 108 percent to 892,894.
