citylets.co.uk, a UK-based rental portal, claims it is now the most-visited rentals website in the country according to Hitwise figures.

The Hitwise figures below show the positions of the top six UK rental portals, with citylets.co.uk in front since February this year:

citylets.co.uk has recently extended its deal with Cricket Scotland for ongoing sponsorship of the national cricket team. The five figure agreement – which includes naming rights to Scotland’s home grounds including the Citylets Grange in Edinburgh – will see the portal continue as a major sponsor until the end of 2012.

“We are delighted that the consistent investment in our brand is paying off through visitor numbers and leads to clients,” says Thomas Ashdown, citylets.co.uk’s founder and managing director.

“To top the list of dedicated residential lettings websites for the past sixth months is encouraging as we only list for rentals in Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland,” Ashdown adds. “We operate in a geography approximately 10 percent of the UK population and a market perhaps just two percent the size of the full UK sales and lettings portals. To replicate our regional performance on a nationwide scale we believe would equate to around 15 million monthly visitors.”

Funny how these guys never include Gumtree Rentals. No brainer as to why.

This website http://www.rentdirectuk.co.uk is currently making significant strides without all the fanfair and marketing hype. I don’t believe this article cannot be possibly true, yes and what about gumtree, no way citylets is doing better than them. alot of hot air
