homes.com, the current number seven real estate website in the US, has struck a new deal that will see it list over 150,000 RE/MAX properties.
homes.com explains that the partnership follows a pilot program to prove the effectiveness of adding RE/MAX listings to the website. “Running in the Central Florida and Mid-Atlantic markets, the homes.com-RE/MAX advertising pilot generated 7,000 additional leads for RE/MAX associates and more than 1.3 million additional listing views,” homes.com states.
RE/MAX’s own website, remax.com, currently occupies 14th place on the Hitwise list of US real estate websites. It made it into the top 10 list in July, dropped from 10th to 13th position in September, and moved down to 15th position in October.
homes.com says the new partnership will drive traffic back to remax.com and increase leads for RE/MAX agents.
homes.com recently reported a 40 percent boost in page views to a total of well over 1 billion, and says its monthly unique visitor total is over 5.5 million.
