A new version of top Swedish property portal hemnet.se is now available in beta at beta.hemnet.se.
Swedish property portal commentator Magnus Svantegård reports that this is hemnet.se’s second major overhaul in 18 months. He adds that the new version will allow for searches with multiple locations, show the number of days a property has been on the market, and display the total cost of ownership for apartments.
hemnet.se is currently working on an iPad app, which is scheduled for a spring release. In October, the portal released a series of promotional YouTube videos with CEO Carl-Henrik Borg taking a starring role.

Hemnet has mentioned that they will focus more on social aspects of their web site and own content. They really are in a great position to become Sweden’s no 1 housing, interior design and real estate site.
