Just four weeks since its launch, the immonet.de iPhone app has been downloaded over 100,000 times, according to the German property portal.
This downloads total puts immonet.de on par with German market leader immobilienscout24.de, which released its own iPhone app in late 2009 and then reported over 100,000 downloads in four weeks.
immonet.de says the app’s Augmented Reality component is particularly popular with users. The app also offers the ability to select multiple locations when searching and create a list of favourite properties.
New managing director Christian Maar adds that immonet.de is already working on further updates to the app and that a new version will be released later this year.
immonet.de picked up an OnlineStar award in July this year, after buying a majority stake in two removal websites: umzugsauktion.de and umzugspreisvergleich.de.
