iproperty.com.sg has joined the ranks of iPad app providers, claiming its offering is the first real estate iPad app to be released in Asia.

The Singaporean portal says the app gives users access to over 50,000 properties for sale and rent. Its release follows on from the launch of iproperty.com.sg’s commercial section at the end of July.

“The take up of the iPad has been phenomenal in other parts of the world and we expect Singapore to be no different,” said iProperty Group CEO Shaun Di Gregorio.

“With this iPad app, we are again one step ahead of our competitors as we focus on innovation,” Di Gregorio added.

Other property portals to have released an iPad app this year include fotocasa.es, seloger.com, primelocation.com, and zillow.com.

Disclosure: CAV Investment Holdings, a related party of Classified Ad Ventures – the owner of propertyportalwatch.com – owns shares in iProperty Group parent company IPGA.
