Map-based property search website homein.com has now added Portugal to the list of countries it covers.
homein.com, which uses Google Maps to display its listings, went free-to-list in early July. Managing director Paul Lupson tells propertyportalwatch.com that the website now has around 3,000 Portuguese properties from six agents, with more XML feeds in the works.
Along with adding listings to its own website, homein.com automatically distributes agents’ listings to a number of other free-to-list locations, including Google Maps’ property search.
Lupson says the website’s new revenue generation model involves paid advertising of real estate services, and that featured listings and “sponsored by” advertisements will be available in future.
