UK rentals portal rentright.co.uk has undergone a major redesign in its bid to become the “ultimate property portal dedicated purely to lettings.”
rentright.co.uk, which was first launched in 2004, says the support of a corporate investor made the redesign possible. Agents using the website can now add YouTube videos and a photo carousel to their listings, and Google Street View has also been incorporated.
The upgraded website is also offering “rental property indexes,” which display average rental prices in a particular region. Users can narrow down the index results by bedroom number and type of property.
“rentright.co.uk hopes to become the voice of the lettings industry, a market that is often an afterthought of the existing portals,” says Gill Markham, head of operations at the portal.
rentright.co.uk partnered with nestoria.co.uk in March, and the portal also has partnerships with Trovit, The Telegraph, The Independent, Channel 4, and AOL.
