While the iPad is gradually gaining attention from property portals, the focus on the iPhone audience remains strong. Following on from releases in Singapore, the past week has seen more offerings come online in Australia, Hong Kong, and the UK.

Australian number two portal domain.com.au has just upgraded its iPhone app, which was first released a year ago and has since been downloaded over 200,000 times.

digital-media.net.au explains that the app now allows users to sync their domain.com.au account with their iPhone so they can save shortlisted properties and inspection planner information wherever they are, and to access property sales data from the past six months.

Meanwhile, iProperty Group has released another iPhone offering for Hong Kong portal gohome.com.hk. The app offers a property search function, saved searches, agent contact options and other features including a solicitor’s advice section.

Finally, UK-based company AYR Communications has released a new Augmented Reality service through Layar that shows average house price and sold price data for 2010.

The service displays data from the UK’s Land Registry, and users have the option to switch to Google Maps or list views as they search nearby property information.

Disclosure: CAV Investment Holdings, a related party of Classified Ad Ventures – the owner of propertyportalwatch.com – owns shares in the iProperty Group’s parent company IPGA.
