A new Australian website is giving Queensland property owners the opportunity to sell through an “agency-assisted” model, which includes listings on major portals realestate.com.au and domain.com.au.
The new website, clickonrealestate.com.au, charges sellers AUD$500+GST to provide them with a for sale sign and add their listing to realestate.com.au, domain.com.au, homehound.com.au, yourproperty.com.au and Google, along with niche websites millionplus.com.au and mysunshinecoast.com.au if appropriate.
These properties also appear on clickonrealestate.com.au itself, which currently has seven active for sale listings. The website suggests these sellers could save approximately $16,440 by using its agency-assisted approach.
“Surveys have shown that well over 75 percent of homebuyers use the Internet before contacting an agent,” clickonrealestate.com.au explains. “These people don’t need an agent to tell them about potential properties, market price and trends, as all the information and figures are widely available these days.”
Petra Sprekos, general manager of realestateview.com.au and propertydata.com.au, told business2.com.au that the launch is a significant milestone for the portal.
“As NSW is the largest property market in Australia, this expansion will allow us to continue to grow our data product and the portal to become one of the leading offerings in Australia,” Sprekos said.
Sprekos went on to say that visitor numbers to realestateview.com.au have recently started to climb “significantly.”
