zillow.com is aiming to make the home hunting experience “fun and easy” with its latest round of upgrades for users.
Those with a big screen can now take advantage of a larger map to find properties, and anyone searching via the map can now preview listing details with pop-up information bubbles.
The option to view bigger photos has also been included in the listing pages, along with a “more facts” section that includes information such as the property’s parcel number, last sold date, and even details on its heating and cooling system.
Other additions to listing pages include the property’s price history, interactive price charts and data, maps and driving directions, and a “what’s nearby” section.
Once users find a property they are interested in, they can sign up for email alerts covering any changes to the listing or the value of the property, or ask to receive similar listings.
The video below shows these new features in action:
Will all this new information bring more visitors to zillow.com and finally move it into the number one spot? propertyportalwatch.com will be keeping a close eye on US metrics to see whether realtor.com should be concerned.
