US rentals search engine rentbits.com has been redesigned, promising a clean, intuitive rental search experience and enhanced search functionality.
Neighbourhood search, launched earlier this month, was a major part of the makeover. rentbits.com also says its advertising features now deliver additional distribution and increased lead generation to its advertisers.
“We felt it was time to give consumers a haven for unpolluted rental information,” explained Dan Daugherty, CEO of rentbits.com. “Our team has spent the last year aggregating, optimizing, and facilitating the use of this information.”
rentbits.com was one of the Hitwise “fast movers” for January, climbing 51 places to land at number 75. The search engine was founded by two ex-Google employees, and its revenue is gained by using a cost-per-click/sponsored listings model.
