US listing service rentalhomesplus.com is reporting an 8 percent rise in tenant enquiries from the first to the third quarter of 2009. The website states it received 47,882 calls in the first quarter, followed by 54,130 in the second and 60,216 in the third.
rentalhomesplus.com also says the number of visitors to the website has increased by 45 percent since 2008, according to its own web analytics.
rentalhomesplus.com distributes its paid listings to a network of partners including search engines, local and specialist property websites, and classified content aggregators such as oodle.com and Google Base.
Robert Hansen, director of sales at rentalhomesplus.com, explains that the website has chosen to use Art Technology Group’s Call Tracking service to report on the number of enquiries these listings generate:
“We partner with more than a thousand different national and local real estate websites to ensure that our customers’ properties are easily found when hopeful tenants complete online searches. Because our listings are so far-reaching, it’s extremely important that we’re able to monitor where the leads are coming from and share that information with our customers as proven ROI.”
rentalhomesplus.com is owned by Classified Ventures LLC, which also runs apartments.com, apartmenthomeliving.com, homefinder.com and homegain.com. rentalhomesplus.com is also affiliated with over 140 US newspapers.
