The iProperty.com Group’s Malaysian property portal, iproperty.com.my, has relaunched with a new look and some new features.

Executive Chairman of the iProperty.com Group, Patrick Grove, says:

“The website’s fresh design is geared towards making the property search process as simple and as quick as possible with an emphasis on improving user experience.”

iproperty.com.my’s revamp is the second in a series of improvements planned for the iProperty.com Group’s network of regional websites. April 2009 saw the first iProperty.com website re-launch in Singapore.

iproperty.com.my is Malaysia’s leading property portal, and says that the relaunch has enhanced its services and introduced innovative features that are set to increase the number and quality of leads to its clients.

The changes include a more contemporary look, wider interface and improved navigation. An advanced search engine allows property hunters to search within a chosen city or township and the property search process has also been enhanced with property searches returning more relevant results and property listings showing more information and larger pictures.

Property listings can also be viewed directly from a Google Maps interface from the ‘Search by Map’ function and a ‘Send to GPS’ feature sends selected properties to a GPS device.

New features include a Condo Directory, which the company says is a first-of-its-kind collaborative wiki-style library comprising of over 1,500 condominiums in major cities around Malaysia to date. User submitted reviews, pictures, videos and maps help property hunters get an unbiased view of a condominium they may be interested in.

‘Search by Hot Area’ lets users search for their dream home already categorised by Malaysia’s most popular property locations. A ‘New Properties’ section has been added to show the latest updates of all the new developments and launches in Malaysia and ‘Overseas Properties’ showcases international properties available for rent and sale.

iproperty.com.my members can now shortlist and send out enquiries to all their favourite properties with ‘My Shortlist’ functionality.

The company has also updated its ‘Property Resources and Guides’ section, drawing on content from its magazine.

The Loans & Financing section offers tools such as loan calculators, refinance, mortgage rates and other resources

A new advertiser’s management interface, iRealtor, was also developed in conjunction with the consumer-facing revamp.

Classified Ad Ventures is the owner of propertyportalwatch.com, and also owns a stake in IPGA.
